About this service
Before discarding old drives, retired devices, or donated equipment, you must ensure NOBODY can recover the information. Simple formatting is not enough — a technician with basic tools can recover data from formatted drives. Secure erasure physically rewrites every bit with random patterns or zeros, per NIST/DoD standards.

Frequently asked questions
Why is formatting the disk not enough? ▾
A "quick" format only erases the file table — the data is still physically there. Any recovery tool can read it. Secure erasure overwrites every sector.
Can you also erase SSDs? ▾
Yes, but with flash-specific methods: ATA Secure Erase at firmware level or crypto-erase. Classic overwriting does not work the same way on SSD.
Do you deliver a certificate for audits? ▾
Yes, a signed certificate with the serial number of each disk, method applied, date, and responsible technician. Valid for SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001.
We handle confidential customer data. Do you guarantee? ▾
Yes. Standard NDA, documented custody, and post-process verification. No disk leaves the lab without the certified erasure.
