Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the data recovery service provided by CYBERRAM SRL (RNC 130373914), under the commercial brand +DR Data Recovery.

1. Lab intake and diagnostic

On receipt of the device, a lab intake fee is charged that covers the technical diagnostic. This fee is non-refundable, regardless of the diagnostic result or the customer's decision not to proceed. Current fees:

  • HDD, SSD, NVMe, portable USB drive: RD$ 1,500 (Basic or Standard plan) or RD$ 5,000 (Urgent plan).
  • RAID, NAS, server, multi-disk DVR: RD$ 4,500 per array.
  • Special Service (after hours or holidays): RD$ 6,500.
  • Flash memory (USB, SD, microSD, CompactFlash), smartphones, and tablets: intake FREE.
  • Additional charge for prior handling of a mechanical disk (HDD or SAS opened outside a cleanroom): RD$ 10,000 non-refundable. Does not apply to SSD, M.2, NVMe, flash, or smartphones because these are electronic devices without magnetic platters.

The service quote is delivered in writing before work starts and is fixed unless changed with customer authorization.

2. Service payment based on outcome

The recovery service fee is only charged if we successfully recover the data. If we cannot recover, the service is not charged — but the lab intake (point 1) is not refunded because it covers the technical diagnostic already performed. For flash memory, smartphones, and tablets, since no intake fee is paid, if we do not recover there is no charge at all.

3. Confidentiality

+DR maintains confidentiality of customer data. Standard NDA is signed on request. Recovered data is delivered only to the customer or someone they authorize in writing.

4. Device custody and disposition

Devices delivered to the lab remain under +DR's custody during the case. The patient device is returned when the recovered data is collected. If the customer does not pick it up at that time, +DR will notify them in writing to indicate final disposition (pick up or recycle).

  • The customer must indicate disposition in writing no later than 7 calendar days after being notified.
  • If choosing to pick up, they must do so no later than 10 days after giving written disposition (whether the case was recovered or not). After that period the device will be destroyed and/or recycled.
  • If choosing to recycle, the device automatically enters our free recycling program.
  • Note: external USB hard drive enclosures are removed during the recovery process and discarded automatically.

5. Warranties and limitations

+DR commits to best professional effort but does NOT guarantee 100% recovery. Some cases are technically non-recoverable and this is reported honestly. Integrity of recovered files is verified before delivery.

6. Payment

Payment is made on delivery of recovered data. We accept bank transfer, deposit, card, and cash. For B2B clients we issue a fiscal invoice (NCF — B01, B14 as applicable). USD accepted via wire transfer or card payment link.

7. Modifications

These terms may be updated. The current version is at datarecovery.com.do/en/terms.
